Download GlissNotes
Free and open source. Pick the build for your computer. No account, no installer tricks.
Older builds and checksums are on the GitHub releases page.
Mac with Apple silicon and Mac with Intel chip and Windows are still on v0.1.0. The v0.3.3 build for those platforms will appear here automatically as soon as it is published.
Web Use it in the browser
The same editor runs as a web app with local recovery and optional sync. Nothing to install, and your workspace follows your account between desktop and browser.
Android Install on Android
- Open the web app in Chrome.
- Tap the menu and choose Add to Home screen, then confirm.
- GlissNotes opens as a standalone app, works offline, and gets a sidebar drawer sized for touch.
macOS Install on a Mac
- Download the DMG for your chip. Apple menu → About This Mac shows “Apple M…” for Apple silicon or “Intel” for an Intel Mac.
- Open the DMG and drag GlissNotes into Applications.
- Current builds are unsigned development builds. On first launch, right-click GlissNotes, choose Open, and confirm the macOS prompt.
If macOS reports the app is damaged, the quarantine flag can be cleared from Terminal:xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/GlissNotes.app
Windows Install on Windows
- Download the ZIP and extract it anywhere, for example your Documents folder.
- Run GlissNotes.exe. No admin rights are required.
- SmartScreen may warn about an unrecognized publisher because builds are not yet code signed. Choose More info → Run anyway.
Signed installers for both platforms are on the roadmap before the 1.0 release.
